ACI CEO Dr. Ann Clark Named Finalist for Lifetime Legacy Award

ACI Specialty Benefits is thrilled to announce that CEO and Founder Dr. Ann Clark has been named a finalist for the Lifetime Legacy Award by Connected Women of Influence. The 2020 Women of Influence Awards ceremony will be held on March 19 at the Hilton Hotel in Mission Valley.

Dr. Ann Clark has spent a lifetime challenging the status quo, charting her own path, and opening inroads for others to do the same. In the face of insurmountable odds and naysayers at every step, Dr. Clark founded the first woman-owned Employee Assistance Program, ACI Specialty Benefits in 1983, and grew the business into a top-ranked global benefits provider where she remains as active CEO today. She is 100% self-made, has written six popular books, and even founded the International Chair Yoga Association to make yoga accessible for all. But there is no secret to her success. Her explanation is simple, “I wanted to do it, and so I did.”

When asked about her hope for the future of female entrepreneurs, Dr. Clark replied, “My hope for future female entrepreneurs is that they start to earn the wealth, ownership and respect that they deserve, and that we reach a time when we can just say ‘CEO’ and ‘Entrepreneur’ without even needing to add the ‘woman’ in front of it.”
