Isaac reached hurricane status on Tuesday, August 28. Through this time of anxiety and uncertainty, it is important to take the official warnings of local and national authorities seriously.

What will happen next?

This interactive map from New York Times tracks the dates of past Isaac activity and projected forecasts of Isaac’s location. Simple wind speed and category information can be seen in the upper right-hand corner.
