ACI Specialty Benefits Acquires Life Care Services EAP

ACI Specialty Benefits today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Life Care Services’ employee assistance program (EAP)—ACI’s second major acquisition in less than a year.

Dr. Ann Clark, founder and CEO of ACI Specialty Benefits says, “On the heels of our July acquisition of Leverage Life and launch of SOAR, our hugely successful student assistance program, this important acquisition of Life Care Services EAP marks the culmination of an incredible year for ACI.”

As a result of this acquisition, ACI Specialty Benefits will deliver comprehensive employee assistance to Life Care Services EAP clientele, expanding market reach across the Pacific Northwest.

Ken Kleinkopf, Vice President of Life Care Services says, “Life Care Services hand-picked ACI to take over the EAP business because of ACI’s 26-year track record as a top ten EAP known for delivering high-quality and innovative employee benefits to diverse clientele. I am more than confident that our current EAP clients will find ACI’s services exceed expectations.”

The official transition of services begins January 1, 2010. Tori Barr, ACI’s Vice President of Corporate Relations will oversee the transition of services and states, “I look forward to upholding our high standards of excellence in program delivery and customer service throughout the transition period, and forging longstanding partnerships with our new clients for many years to come.”
