Improve Your Memory Using Simple Meditation

Recent studies suggest that meditators may be benefiting from changes in their brains. Those who meditated for about 30 minutes a day for eight weeks had measurable changes in parts of the brain associated with memory, sense of self, empathy and stress.

Don’t know how to start meditating?

Here are a few simple steps to get you started!

  1. Sit upright on a chair or the floor and in silence.
  2. Use different objects to focus your attention such as focusing on sensations of breathing, emotions, thoughts or observing any type of body sensations.
  3. It is common for the mind to wander. Acknowledge this and then gently bring the mind back to the here and now.
