Mental Health Awareness

While more than 300 million people worldwide are affected by depression, less than half actually get the help or treatment needed. It is important to remember to reach out for help in dealing with depression and other mental health concerns.

Turn to Your Employee Assistance Program for Confidential Support

Each individual is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all formula to treat mental health concerns, but personalized, confidential and professional support is available through your Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

An EAP is a confidential, employer-sponsored (no cost to employees) program to address absolutely any mental health concern. Through the EAP, employees can speak to a professional clinician about any personal issue affecting well-being:

  • Emotional Wellness
  • Stress Management
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Family/Relationship Issues
  • Grief and Loss
  • Substance Abuse and Addiction

The EAP clinician offers assessment, short-term problem resolution, and referrals to additional resources as needed. Depending on preference, employees can speak to a clinician in person, over the phone, or through ACI’s HIPAA-compliant video chat sessions.
