When hunger strikes in the workplace, it is difficult to resist free donuts, candy and other unhealthy snacks. However, it is possible to combat moments of temptation by stocking up on healthier options. Here are a few tips for healthy snacks at work:

  • Shop for nuts, granola, dried fruit (with no added sugar) and dark chocolate chips in the bulk section of the grocery store to make DIY trail mix.
  • Slice fruit and vegetables for the whole week. For extra flavor, dip slices in peanut butter, Greek yogurt or hummus.
  • Pair whole grain crackers with light cheese.
