Real Men Do Bro-Yoga at ACI Specialty Benefits

San Diego, CA/June 20, 2013 – The men at ACI love Bro-Yoga – yoga for ‘bros’ – and they’ve got the skin-tight tank tops and award nomination to prove it.

ACI’s Daniel Hwang, Josh Tiernan, and Ryan Fay practice Bro-Yoga in the onsite yoga studio.

Weekly onsite Bro-Yoga classes where “it’s okay not to touch your toes,” have become a big hit at ACI Specialty Benefits. IT Manager Ryan Fay dropped 40 pounds over the course of a year with regular Bro-Yoga classes and healthier lifestyle choices and says, “I’ve discovered muscles I never knew I had.” ACI’s Chief Sales Officer Thomas Lee can now do upside-down pull-ups against a rope wall and social media specialist Anthony Shideler turned his tears of pain into tears of joy, and now enjoys effortlessly wrapping his fingers around his toes.

“I play baseball and some other sports,” said Shideler, “but I never thought of myself as a flexible person before Bro-Yoga.”

“Bro-Yoga: Getting Real Mean to do Yoga” is nominated for a Benefits Innovation and Inspiration award through Employee Benefit News. The public can see their inspirational story and vote Bro-Yoga by liking them on Facebook. Votes can be cast once per day through June 25, 2013.

ACI’s Bro-Yoga YouTube video offers a sneak peek into the state-of-the-art onsite yoga studio and the real men that do yoga there. The full Bro-Yoga story is also featured on ACI’s Blog “Bro-Yoga Banter: Do Real Men Do Yoga?”
