Snack Food Nation
Snacking happens everywhere: in the car, on the phone, and even in bed. For many people, snacking is so automatic that our brains barely register the hand-to-mouth motion. Here are ways to not fall for common snack traps:
- Pigging Out At Night: Fix it by starting the day with a satisfying breakfast. Then, at lunch combine healthy carbs, protein and fat.
- Eating Before Dinner: Fix it by planning. Before getting home, eat something light and nourishing.
- Grazing At The Office: Fix it by bringing in healthy snacks that you actually prefer over the junk food.
- Kid’s Snack Habits Are Contagious: Fix it by ditching the kiddie foods and replacing with family-friendly snacks that are high in fiber and not loaded with fat.
