Avid Huffington Post work-life blogger and industry innovator Cathy Leibow oversees business development and service outcomes as Senior Vice President of Leverage Concierge. With an impressive 30-year track record of building great places to work, Cathy has helped retail giants like Nordstrom and tech powerhouses like Apple attract and retain top talent through innovative work-life perks and benefits that support employees personally and professionally, strengthen company culture and drive engagement.

“I started my work-life services company many years ago as a passion project to help working families address everyday challenges. That idea evolved over time into Leverage Concierge, and we’re now supporting clients worldwide. It’s incredible to know we’re making a difference in people’s lives and helping companies become best places to work.”

Most Excited About:
“Errand running! The need for work-life convenience is growing in competitive industries including healthcare, biotech, law and finance, and errand running is becoming an increasingly popular service for employers to offer their employees. We’ve seen great utilization and results with our errand running clients. It’s a game changer for the concierge industry and employee benefits.”

Proudest Moments:
“I launched my work-life company in 1987, with no experience running a business. But I truly believed in what I was doing, I treated people fairly, and I listened. If I was going to sell the idea of creating better workplaces, I had to be a model of that. I also served as an example of a strong working mother to my children. My daughter telling me she wanted to raise her children the way I raised her was probably one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received.”

Favorite Place:
“Mexico. My husband and I recently bought a house in Akumal, on the Riviera Maya. Our search for a retirement home was actually featured on the show Mexico Life on HGTV, so you can see how beautiful it is there. I love to work, so the next phase for me definitely won’t be a traditional retirement. I’m already thinking of concierge business ideas geared toward expats.”

Best Advice:
“Follow your passion. Take risks. Stay curious. Lead by example. And take care of yourself. Life will throw you curveballs, but challenges are an opportunity to learn, grow and realize that you are capable of doing difficult and extraordinary things.”
