Ways to Sneak in a Workout

In a perfect world, there would be at least an hour a day to devote to fitness. Realistically, 24 hours isn’t nearly enough time to fit everything in for most hard working individuals. Stop stressing! Here are a few ways to sneak a strong workout into any busy schedule.

  • Turn a commute into a workout: Bike, run or walk to work. Live too far? Get off the bus or train a few stops earlier, or park the car further away to extend walking time.
  • Sneak in a lunch break workout: Use the lunch break to go to the gym or go for a walk. This is proven to give a midday energy jolt and is an excellent way to sneak in some exercise!
  • Take the kids: Invest in a jogging stroller to get miles in without paying for a sitter, or use a carrier and do squats for extra resistance and a fun distraction.
  • No more couch potato: Try doing   push-ups, crunches, jumping jacks or squats while catching up on favorite TV shows.
