ACI Responds to Arizona Shooting by Extending EAP Services

Americans across the nation will be joining those directly affected by the recent Arizona shooting in struggling with strong and overwhelming emotions surrounding this terrible tragedy. In response to the emotional aftermath, ACI Specialty Benefits is working hand-in-hand with clients, their employees and family members, to assist all those who may have been impacted.

“When such a horrific event like the Arizona shooting occurs, people are left confused, fearful, angry, and looking for answers” says Dr. Ann Clark, CEO and founder of ACI Specialty Benefits. “For these individuals, immediate and often times, ongoing counseling is the most effective way for them to make sense of their emotions – and the best thing employers nationwide can do is make these services available to their employees and family members. At times like these, my heart truly goes out to all those affected, and I am grateful to be in a position to help.”

ACI’s employee assistance program services can ensure that employees and family members receive necessary crisis counseling, grief counseling, and other helpful resources during this critical time. ACI’s expert clinicians can also provide management consultation on effectively addressing national crises at the workplace and managing post-traumatic emotions amongst the workforce.
