ACI Specialty Benefits Recognized by Department of the Navy

MEMPHIS, November 14, 2013 — ACI Specialty Benefits has been honored with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), recognizing ACI for exceptional commitment and support as demonstrated in the crisis response to the tragic Naval Yard shooting in September. ACI’s crisis response team, including Army veteran clinician Megan Hawker, traveled to Washington D.C. to join the skilled team providing crisis support immediately following the incident.

“When such a tragedy occurs, mental health can be a valuable asset in the healing process.” said Hawker. “I am grateful to be part of a team that is so willing and ready to support others in need.”

In addition to working with CNIC, ACI delivers Employee and Student Assistance Program services to clients and families across the United States and abroad. Critical Incident Response is one of the many services ACI provides, as well as a specialized Veterans Assistance Module geared towards addressing the unique challenges faced by active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families.

“Providing responsive and comprehensive support to clients and family during a crisis is of utmost importance at ACI, and we are extremely honored to be recognized for serving those who serve,” said Dr. Ann D. Clark, ACI Specialty Benefits CEO and founder.
