Easiest Ways to Eat Less

In America, 66% of adults are overweight and 30% are now obese. Here are some tips to eat less and not overindulge…

Use smaller plates and tall skinny glasses. Normal portion sizes look small on large plates; use smaller dishes to make portions look larger.

Don’t skip meals throughout the day. Missing meals will promote overeating later in the day, so eat every 3-4 hours.

Don’t eat in front of the TV. Studies at Harvard Medical Center showed that mindless eating contributed to an extra 167 calories for each hour of TV watched.
