- Keep a gratitude journal. Count your blessings by writing them down each day. Try not to repeat anything – you will learn to cultivate gratitude for even the little things in life.
- Write a thank you letter. Write a letter to one person you feel has impacted your life and thank them for the gifts (physical or not) they have bestowed on you.
- Take a gratitude walk. Take a 20 minute or longer walk and consider the things, people, and experiences you are grateful for. Pay attention to all your senses as you take in the scenery.
