Spreading EAP Awareness #MyWorkFam

Everyone needs support to get through the workday, whether it comes from your favorite coworkers, that third cup of coffee or your company’s Employee Assistance Program, also known as an EAP. Most companies provide EAPs for their employees, but unfortunately many of us are not sure how to use it, or even know what it is!

The Employee Assistance Program is a benefit paid for by your company to help support the workforce with whatever might be causing them stress in their lives. Modern EAPs even go further by providing unique services to improve work-life balance, like child care referrals, life coaching and financial wellness resources. Whether you are looking to take advantage of free counseling or simply would like to learn about available services to make your life a little more convenient, everyone should spread the word that EAPs are out there, waiting to be utilized!

To spread awareness of the availability and usefulness of EAPs, we are sharing photos of the amazing “work families” around the world. With so many hours spent working, it is no surprise that we develop strong ties with coworkers, leaning on each other for camaraderie and support. If anyone in your work fam is stressed, remind them that help could be right around the corner in your company’s EAP.
